Deadlift 1 rep max
Shoulder Press 1 rep max
Lots of warm-up today....body-weight, dynamic and barbell.
You'll have 3 attempts to find your max lift(s). Today, we are looking for the max load without breaking down mechanically. There is a time and place where the dog-crap dl happens and you might record it as your max...this is not that day. We need these #s to more accurately determine percentages for subsequent training. Patience, folks - the #s will happen...stick with it.
Speaking of accuate #s....If you don't happen to have an Iphone with nifty apps there is another online option that can log your WODS, lifts, meals, and a gazillion other stats. All very helpful.
